Clash of the Titans

Caught in a war between gods, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades, the god of the underworld. VFX helped to bring to life the ancient world of greek gods by creating a blue flame fluid.

We were contacted by the production team at special effects supervisors SFX to create a blue flame fluid.

The method was available in the US but it was difficult and very expensive to ship.

We were sent a video along with a sample of how the producers wanted the blue flame to look. Using this sample, we formulated our own unique solution and experimented to ensure it met requirements. Sending a video during testing and working alongside the SFX technicians, we successfully created the spectacular effect seen in the Clash of the Titans, Hades first entrance.
